A few reminders for Thursday - the kids can wear or bring their costumes that day.  If it will be difficult for them to stay in all day, please send a change of clothes.  There will be a short assembly at 9 where they will be able to show off their costumes!
Reminder: School District Policy strictly prohibits students from bringing weapons or replica weapons to school.  This includes toy weapons that are part of a costume. Please also try to avoid overly scary or gory items that may bother our younger students.
We will attempt to get some work done after recess, and then after lunch we have gym!  We are being joined by  another class for some Halloween games. After gym we will be in the classroom finishing up a spooky art project.  Our short party will start at 2:00!  You are welcome to come join us at that time.  If you are sending a treat for the party, you can bring it at 2:0 or send it in the morning.

Friday is PJ Day! After a long night of trick or treating, we get to come to school all snuggled up in our jammies. 

Friday is also hot lunch!

Welcome to our new class blog! Hopefully this will be a place where we can post information about what is going on in class or at the school.  This is a bit of a trial for us as it is new - so bear with us and don't be disappointed if we don't update as often as you'd hope to see.  Please continue to check the student's planners daily for information.  In the meantime - we'll see where this takes us!

First order of business - Halloween!  I hope you all got the notice about a short Halloween Party on Thursday.  The kids will have some free center time at 2pm and I thought it would be a nice opportunity if parents wanted to come join their kids.  I also thought we could make it more festive with some snacks!  If you would like to contribute, please let me know what you will be bringing.  Remember, no nuts, and if there are strawberries in anything, please let me know or have it labelled.
